SHAPKO BAR sur Nice

We spent Friday night at a live concert until 2 am, ok prices, great atmosphere!

went for the rock n roll live music at around 10 on a friends trip so caught the tail end of the great musicians. super grungy vibe which we rly liked and the cocktails were delish and massive so great value. v reccomend

Fantastic live music! Service was questionable but music made up for it. I’d come here expecting to drink plain liquor or beers because they list a ton of cocktails but can only make about 1/4 of them.

Great place with friendly staff and excellent music. This appears straight away when you search for live music in Nice, and seems a popular spot attracting talented performers. Bar staff are friendly and drinks are well priced. Door staff are friendly and helpful. Located in the old town, it is easy to find and lots of local places to eat nearby.

The bar's policy is to serve your friends first, even if you've been waiting in line for ages. And why be pleasant? The customer is just there to pay and get drunk. As for the toilets, why bother having them? Everyone pees directly on the floor, judging by the smell and the amount of liquid (a mop once in a while would be nice...). There's no room to move around, it's crowded, everyone's stepping on each other, and our drinks are snatched as soon as we're served... I'm not complaining, I've been to plenty of clubs and bars. But when some establishments know there's not much competition around at this time of day, they don't bother trying to please anyone.

A great funk/disco/pop cover band (MJ, Jamiroquai, Earth Wind & Fire…) that creates a fantastic atmosphere!

A friendly bar team.. Le Shapko opens at 22:00 all the way through to 05:30… cool jazz played alongside other genres with a jazz twist.. The audience did change from aged 30 - 70 around 01:00 to 18 plus very young adults (all who were being age checked by the door staff)
