Sherazade sur Gradignan

I visited the Sherazade in Gradignan. The welcome was very warm and the staff were pleasant, which was much appreciated. However, I was disappointed by the couscous. It was served directly onto my plate, swimming in sauce, whereas I would have preferred the semolina and broth to be served separately, or with much, much less sauce! I then asked for more semolina, but I found it very dry. I also found there was very little lamb, and a lot of fat, which was a shame. The welcome was indeed very good, but a few improvements to the presentation and quality of the dish would make the experience much more enjoyable.

This was my first time at this restaurant, and I will definitely be back. The lady was very friendly and welcoming. 🥰 I even broke the lid of a tagine bowl, but she remained very professional. Thank you for the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and your kindness. I will probably order online while I wait to come back with friends so they can also enjoy Moroccan food.

The atmosphere was perfect, I really enjoyed it. It was lively, everyone was there, everyone was having a good time, and you meet new people, which is always nice. I really enjoyed that evening, but regarding the food, I don't know what happened. If you don't have everything on the menu, or something like that, you're either told in advance, you take the menu, or they order something else. That's the only thing that bothered me a little. Otherwise, everything else was great, and the atmosphere was brilliantly created by Himad and Salim. It's from the Alliance Française. As for the food, it has a certain flavor, it's pretty good, let's just say. In short, excellent! I'll bring some friends who don't know about it soon.

We used to live opposite Shérazade and loved coming back from time to time for their excellent couscous and equally delicious tagine. The service was always pleasant and quick. Now we live in Mérignac and haven't found anything comparable. So we sometimes make the trip back to Shérazade and we're never disappointed. The journey is well worth it, especially since the prices are quite reasonable.
