We had a very pleasant time at Shu. The place is very cozy and intimate. You will find real Japanese culture there, in the food, the service but also the atmosphere. Without a doubt, you will find excellence on your plate in the different dishes that the Chef offers (7-course menu) but also in your glass (wide range of Sake). I highly recommend.

It was an interesting experience to try the kushiage concept (Japanese deep fried food on a stick). We took the 58€ menu to have the sashimi, sushi and palate cleanser on top of the basic 48€ menu. The frying technique was good, crispy, no soggy (except the scallop). But not much flavors lingering in my mind though, or maybe we are too used to french dishes which always pair the main ingredients with the sauce to elevate the flavors. In any case, worth a try for the concept.
Ps: we really liked their green mustard

An incredible culinary experience in terms of its originality and its quality. Served in several parts and in season, this gourmet restaurant will certainly delight you if you appreciate Japanese flavors. The service is fast and smooth, the place picturesque and charming. Be careful, however, to book in advance, as the restaurant is very small. We have come several times, and we have never been disappointed.

A charming small restaurant that specializes in tempura. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Frankly, while we enjoyed everything, our favorite items were the sashimi which came before the tempura pieces. Fifteen individual ‘lollipop’ type fried items was way too many for us and some of them I wish I avoided—a cherry tomato wrapped in bacon? Traditional items like eggplant and shrimp and mushrooms were delicious. Overall, a lovely experience and charming place.

I really like the atmosphere of the restaurant with the cute little door. The waitresses are warm. The dessert was sooo good. The mixture of strawberry mousse and matcha cake is magnificent!
Unfortunately only bottled wine... the fries are varied but the preparation is a little slow. I had to spend almost 2.5 hours to finish this dinner.
