*Return to 'Simple'* Every summer, it is a pleasure to meet Laura and her cuisine again. All the products are tasty, and sometimes come directly from the garden. The cuisine is homemade while maintaining good value for money without fuss. Little extra, here we cleverly match the weather if the temperatures are hot (Ex: light iced lemon for dessert; With a real lemon!!) A small glass of wine, a small beer, everything from the area. The shade of the large plane trees, which despite the midday heat, give the place a touch of natural freshness in a quiet square. We were very well received by the friendly manager after our little bike ride to the Pont du Gard. The name of the restaurant is well chosen: the dishes are as simple as they are excellent. No fuss here with elaborate, uninteresting pseudo-dishes. For example, very good sun-drenched tomatoes, a superb creamy burrata, a homemade pesto, a good olive oil and that's it. You don't need more to enjoy it. For dessert, an apricot clafoutis and for a drink, Beaucaire apple juice. It's simple, it's good. It exudes freshness, homemade and local products. The menu is not long: two dishes and two desserts to choose from. It's simple but it's enough and for me it's a guarantee of freshness. A special mention for the little waitress who (already) shows a lot of attention and professionalism towards customers (I advise some local waiters to come and take lessons here). I wish Le Simple all the success it richly deserves and I recommend that you stop there during your visit to Beaucaire. The little square is also very nice with beautiful architectural elements. The clientele of local regulars is also a very good sign. Go there with your eyes closed.
