We came on a Saturday evening and it was very lively! There was a market going on, so it's best to book in advance.
Top-notch service, friendly and cheerful staff.
I had the octopus salad, my partner had the cognac tartare (a great discovery), and my in-laws had the fish of the day. Everything was delicious. Next time we'll try the mussels, which all our neighbors had!

Very good mussels and fries!
We had a great meal at this restaurant and had a really friendly waiter. The mussels were beautiful, large, and very good.
One small drawback: the service is extremely fast. If you want to eat quickly, it's perfect, but if you like to take your time, it might not be ideal.
One of the waitresses (probably the manager) told us what was happening in the kitchen when we asked for more fries, which wasn't really necessary... there's probably another way to do it. Fortunately, the other waiter handled the situation very well and took excellent care of us.
In short, we ate well and had a great time.

One of the best restaurants in Ayguade. The mussels Provençal are exceptional, the tuna slice is very well served and excellent, and the service is top-notch.
