So'Bistro sur Genas

We ate at this traditional Lyonnais restaurant in Genas last night. A wonderful discovery! The food, the service, the atmosphere—everything was perfect. I recommend it 200%!

This is the second time my partner and I have been here. The food is excellent, featuring Lyonnaise cuisine. Christelle, the chef and owner, is a truly authentic character. Louis, who greets customers and provides service, is also very pleasant. It's a really great place. The added bonus? They have musical or themed evenings on Thursdays... a real gem!

We discovered this restaurant where we received a super warm welcome, and where we ate simple but very well-prepared dishes made with good ingredients! We'll be back very soon!

Dinner was organized at this establishment, which was as welcoming and charming as its staff. The menu was lovingly prepared, and the portions were generous, reflecting the restaurant's character… so much so that some trouser buttons didn't survive the meal. 😄 The Lyonnais cake was delicious. The cuisine is simple, authentic, and perfectly executed: no frills here, just flavor—and lots of it. A true Lyonnais bouchon, just the way we like them—you come to eat, you leave rolling (and already thinking about coming back). We had a wonderful time.

A true Lyonnais bistro in the heart of Genas. Everything is excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly; people come here to have a wonderful, convivial time. Musical evenings are an added bonus. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. You can go there without hesitation.

Dinner the day before Valentine's Day allowed us to choose from the menu and discover this place we hadn't been to before. We were delighted with this wonderful discovery. The menu was typical of Lyon's traditional bistros... a real treat! The owner was very attentive; a very pleasant evening!
