SOHO Urban Food sur Villeneuve-D'Ascq

Simply perfect. You customize your own meal. You build your pizza to your liking with the ingredients you take from the counter, bake it yourself in three minutes, and the result would horrify any Italian. There's a salad bar and a dessert bar. You can also get hamburgers, but I didn't try that part. The place is large and comfortable. Expensive for what it offers. In my opinion, it only makes sense to go if you're in the area or staying at one of the hotels on the same block because, at least during the week, there aren't many other options nearby.

All-you-can-eat buffet! You pay first and then you find a table. The room is very large, with tables for 2, 4, 6, or even more. Convenient for groups. For starters, you can choose your own salads... not bad, I had seconds. The ingredients are fresh. For main courses, you can choose small or large pizzas to build yourself. You put it in a mini oven and wait 5 minutes. You can also get burgers if you don't like pizza. I chose a large pizza, but I didn't like the type of dough used, or maybe my pizza wasn't very good. No, these pizzas weren't great. I didn't try the desserts because I was full. There were two slices of pie, but they were falling apart. Proof that it's the customers who help themselves and wreck everything. They also had Italian ice cream. The garlic bread was delicious! Expect to pay €20 including a soft drink. Still water is self-service. The staff is very friendly! The young man explains everything very well and is very helpful if you need anything.

We had a very good meal yesterday, a warm welcome, and a decent selection. The only downside was the price. There should be a set menu for 11- to 15-year-olds, because paying €21 for an 11-year-old who doesn't eat much is a bit steep.

A very nice and pleasant place. The service is excellent. The managers and servers are very friendly. Fully accessible for people with reduced mobility (including restrooms).

First time dining at the Villeneuve d'Ascq restaurant today. A very warm welcome from the friendly staff who took the time to explain the restaurant's concept. Good food, fresh fries, perfectly cooked pasta – in short, nothing to complain about, everything was perfect. We'll be back soon. Thank you! ☺️

A wonderful discovery during our visit to Lille. A huge thank you for the warm welcome and the kindness of the manager, who was quick to respond and very understanding after an unexpected mishap (a sick child). We'll gladly return, and without the germs ;-)

Nice place. Excellent staff. It's not haute cuisine, but the food is very good and the ingredients are fresh 👍. It's quick and not very expensive. Don't hesitate, go!
