Subway sur Armentieres

I went to the Subway in Armentières this afternoon and honestly… what a pleasant surprise! I've been to quite a few Subways and the service often leaves something to be desired. But this was completely different. We were served by a tall, curvy cashier who was incredibly friendly and always smiling. Even though it was busy and she was working alone, she took the time to explain the recipes, give us helpful tips, and even tell us about the daily specials. We were served quickly, even though they also had online orders to handle. Seriously, impressive. The restaurant was clean and tidy, the ingredients were fresh, and the sandwiches were delicious. It's so nice to encounter someone so professional and friendly. PS: We asked for her name to leave a review, but she told us to just write "The Subway Team." So, kudos to the team! 👏 Thanks for the recommendation, you can go there without hesitation! 👌

I came with my family to the Subway on the Grand-Place in Armentières and we were very satisfied! The two people behind the counter were truly professional, especially a young man who has worked there for over 8 years: very helpful and attentive. The welcome and service were excellent; we felt very welcome. I highly recommend this establishment!

The waiter Allan and his colleague (the woman with the piercing) were very welcoming and friendly this lunchtime (January 16th). And the waiter always makes generous sandwich fillings.

I went through Uber Eats today to order a long foot cookie, which they no longer make due to lack of stock. A saleswoman called me to let me know, and to overcome this problem, the very pleasant and wonderful saleswoman I spoke to on the phone sold me 9 classic cookies (total order €7.50 without delivery). A very kind gesture, a superb and kind saleswoman, thank you again!

Okay, we all know the concept... clean place... admittedly, it could use some background music. But that's not the point. I prefer a sandwich here, even if it's a bit pricey. I'm never disappointed. Always so tasty. Now for the real reason... I saw that there's still humanity in this place. There's this little old lady, always sitting in the same spot facing the entrance. To combat loneliness and monotony, she comes to have a coffee... and there's this staff member who smiles kindly at her and helps her down the stairs with a gentle touch. So thank you for that. And keep it up.
