Sunset Café sur Aix-Les-Bains

Located in the streets of Aix-en-Provence, this restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The waitresses greet you with a pleasant smile that immediately draws you into the dining experience. The service is attentive and friendly. The fondue is excellent, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The only slight drawback is that the restaurant is quite small, and the tables are unfortunately very close together, which can sometimes compromise comfort. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars, but overall, the experience remains very positive.

What a surprise! Struggling to find an open restaurant with room for two, we stumbled completely by chance upon Sunset... A small restaurant with a wonderfully calm, warm, and attentive atmosphere. The dishes arrived, and... wow, they were beautiful! The first bites, and wow, as beautiful as they were delicious! From start to finish, it was near perfection. Everything was fresh and homemade, with vegetables that were a welcome change from the usual fries. The chef's ideas are truly original, and bravo, it's a real success on all fronts... And all this for no more, or even much less, than elsewhere! At €24 for such a dish and €8 for the amazing dessert, with this level of creativity and skill, it's frankly exceptional. One of the best discoveries we've made, congratulations to the whole team for everything, and we'll be back very, very soon!

We had a very pleasant evening. The dishes were high quality, generous, and the vegetable side dishes were original and varied. The limoncello Spritz was very enjoyable, and there was a selection of wines by the carafe. The atmosphere was warm and the staff friendly.

Our outing at Sunset was a real treat! For the welcome. Sylvie's smile and kindness immediately put us in the mood, and Johanna is no slouch. For the quality of the food. Steve is a chef with a capital C. His second-in-command is right on his heels. For the service. We went there one evening at nine, and the restaurant and terrace were full. We weren't even scared. We were all served quickly, at the same time, and the food was hot. For the atmosphere. It's the kind of small restaurant where you naturally strike up a conversation with the next table.
