SUSHI Izakaya sur Vanves

As regular customers of their attractive website, I can attest that their maki menus are always excellent and delivered reliably. The portions are generous (3 x 8 maki!) and always fresh. You won't find better value for money in the area, and even when you dine in, the service is very good.

We had a great time. We had a bento box, spring rolls, and maki rolls; everything was delicious.

The atmosphere isn't particularly upscale or fancy. It's the kind of shop that just sits there out of nowhere in the middle of a residential area. It seems to be a regular spot for the locals. There were many takeout customers while we were eating. Ten of us visited and ordered a variety of dishes, so we all tasted a little bit of everything. The freshness and taste of the food were good. Miso soup seems to be included on the menu. I really enjoyed the eel rice bowl. The owners are a friendly couple.

A family restaurant with great prices. Get the beef yakitori and the salmon plate.
