We never pass through Beaune without visiting Sushi Kai. A zen-like haven in the heart of Burgundy's generous cuisine. Absolute refinement. Original and exquisite dishes. A must-try, or an experience to be repeated again and again.

A cozy little shop. The food is fresh and delicious, and the drinks are good too. The courtyard is gorgeous; I love eating there.

Probably one of the best sushi/Asian restaurants I've ever been to. The dining room is beautiful, the waitresses are lovely, and the food… I truly loved everything about it. The biggest highlight, for me, was the quality and portion size of the fish: FINALLY, a restaurant that doesn't treat us like idiots and serves more fish than rice (as is so common in Japan). The wasabi was also excellent! I would gladly return.

After you enter, you walk down a hallway to an intimate, cozy dining room. It welcomes you with a well designed interior that features windows that invites nature into the space. The food is delicious and carefully curated to appeal to all palates.

23/03/2026: For me this restaurant is helping us at Homesick chinese kitchen, The food are not the best, but service, location and prices are so so good. With less than 20 Euro/person you are full enough at their Buffet Volonte.
09/03/2026: We ate there. It's small, simple, and the food is quite good. The waiter is very kind and friendly. However, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired (sticky floor, broken tiles, and everything is black—don't even get me started on the toilets). We still had a good time, though.
