A superb culinary experience, a Japanese restaurant that everyone should know about, incredible flavors, I highly recommend it. A big plus for the tempura prawn maki.

We chose to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary at Sushi Kai, a place that held special significance for us since we met many years ago in a karate dojo and are very attached to Japanese culture. It was a wonderful evening. The cuisine is delicate, generous, and of exceptional quality. The ingredients are remarkably fresh, the dishes are beautifully presented, and the ambiance truly invites you to take the time to savor the moment. A big thank you also to the entire front-of-house team for their warm welcome, professionalism, and kindness. We felt welcome from the beginning to the end of the meal. A place we appreciate and where we will gladly return. Thank you for helping to make our wedding anniversary so enjoyable.

A very pleasant welcome, attentive staff, a warm atmosphere with a lovely garden terrace, freshly made sushi and maki rolls, dishes prepared by the chef and regularly updated, successfully combining Eastern and Western flavors. A place to recommend for a romantic meal, a get-together with friends, or a family meal.

While visiting Beaune and the surrounding area, we stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance. An EXCELLENT find! A Japanese restaurant with a Japanese chef is rare enough to be worth mentioning! Fresh and excellent ingredients, tapas-style sharing plates at reasonable prices, and excellent service. An incredible wine list with a very wide selection of Burgundy wines at very affordable prices. A wonderful discovery; we will most likely return on our next visit. Thank you and best of luck!

Incredible value for money! Recommended by a friend, we weren't disappointed. The flavors are well-thought-out, balanced, and comforting. If you're ever in Beaune, a must-try.

I think I quite like Japanese food, but this is something else entirely. The reservation process was simple and efficient; I chose the online platform, booked about an hour in advance, and when we arrived, they were expecting us. It might seem obvious, but it was true. The interior is absolutely beautiful. The dining room (air-conditioned), the back room, and the outdoor area at the rear of the building are all tastefully decorated. The furniture is also very minimalist. The welcome is warm and attentive, and they take the time to ensure you fully understand the menu descriptions. When the dishes arrive, wonder vies with delight, and then comes the pleasure of discovering the flavors and elegant nuances. This Saturday evening meal is truly memorable. Thank you.
