We were welcomed by Enzo, the tour was fantastic, we had a blast, and the wines were superb, special mention to the Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru "Les Valosières" 1995. I highly recommend it.
We came to Beaune for our anniversary and biked through the vineyards. We visited Comte Senard at the end of the first day. Enzo was our host and we had a great tasting and tour of the vinyard just as the sun was starting to go down golden over the vinyards. It’s nice to visit smaller domaines and be able to see the actual plots where the wine that you’re drinking is grown. We were also able to see the wine maker and her family and really appreciate how for many producers wine is still very much a small family business where the utmost attention is put into the craft and the product.
We appreciated the warm welcome from a young Dutch woman who showed us around this beautiful estate and introduced us to some exceptional wines. We will cherish the memory of our visit and will certainly recommend it to our friends and family.
Fantastic experience. For the non-wine fanatic, skip the all day Burgundy tour and come here for the lunch and tasting. Had five wines, all excellent. Staff is very attentive and welcoming.
Imke was absolutely wonderful in explaining the wines to us and guiding us through the wine tasting session. She was very accommodating and kind as we had mistakenly booked the wrong date for tasting but she was kind enough to accomodate us at the last minute. Despite our mistake, she took great care of us. It was a wonderful experience with interesting wines!
Generous hosts, who provide a friendly service, lovely elevated local home style food to enjoy with the tasting and relatively generous tasting pours. We had a great experience that I’d highly recommend
