Table Comte Senard sur Aloxe-Corton

Due to time constraints, we only did the tasting, not the cellar and vineyard tour. The session was well-structured and the explanations were very clear. Several wines of varying quality were offered, including a grand cru. The facilities are set up to accommodate a large number of guests. The staff were very professional. We were very satisfied with our visit to Aloxe-Corton.

An amazing tasting with Baptiste. Thank you! We were welcomed to a beautiful facility with equally beautiful wines. Baptiste provided us with the context about the region, the vineyard, and the wines. We had to rush out to beat the heat so we weren’t able to see the cellar. Hopefully next time!

I visited on a tour. At a prestigious domaine in Corton, Burgundy, France, we enjoyed a tasting of four high-quality wines along with regional cuisine, while listening to explanations about the wines. Of course, the wine was delicious, but the food was also excellent. We were served Burgundy regional dishes such as persillé, beef stewed in red wine Burgundy style, potato gratin, mini cream puffs with French bread, three kinds of cheese, macarons for dessert, and finally coffee. Everything was so delicious, it felt like we were eating at a first-class restaurant. After the meal, we were shown the vineyards and the underground wine cellar. Apparently, it was once used as an air-raid shelter, and monks stored wine there. It had been buried underground for many years and was discovered by chance in recent years, and the owner was surprised to find so much wine. Some of the wines are hundreds of years old. The wine tasting, Burgundy regional cuisine, vineyards, and underground wine cellar tour were all wonderful experiences. Thank you to the owner.

A superb experience! Thank you to Ophélie for all her explanations about the Senard family, their winemaking process, the differences in soil, etc. The wine tasting paired with the meal was fantastic. The staff is very pleasant, smiling, and charming. I highly recommend this visit. We will be back with friends.

Imke was a very friendly host during our visit. The wines we tasted were superb, as we expected, with some very suggestive surprising experiences.

We had a great morning at Domaine Comte Senard. The grounds look amazing, the tour was excellent, and the wines were fantastic. Imke was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely check it out if you are in the Bourgogne region.

Stopped by for a wine tasting and it did not disappoint! The wines were excellent and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Def worth a visit!

We had an amazing visit! Ophelie was wonderful and showed us the grounds, wine cellar, talked about the vineyard, different types of wine and history of the place. It was followed by wine tasting and food pairing. Each wine was exquisite and food was way beyond our expectations. Will definitely be back!
