Tagawa sur Paris

Everything was delicious: tempura, tofu croquettes in broth, sushi and maki, as well as the drinks. We wanted an experience in a real Japanese restaurant, and it was frankly delicious; we even ordered sushi from the menu for dessert!

As a traveler, for experiencing the proper culture, vibe and kitchen of Japan, this is definitely place to go 😊 I had one of the best unagi don, especially out of the Japan. Japanese lady was very lovely and made us feel like we visited Japan itself. Can’t wait to return 😊

We've loved this place for years! The quality is always there, it's delicious, subtle, and fresh! And on top of that, the welcome is so warm – a real gem in the 15th arrondissement!

As everyone knows, authentic Japanese restaurants are unfortunately extremely rare in France, even in Paris. Tagawa is one of them, and a worthy representative of this superb, refined cuisine. Every dish we tasted was beautiful to look at, worthy of kaiseki ryuri in Japan, and delicious. What's more, they were served by a very attentive and discreet woman. Upon entering, you are given a warm oshibori to dry your hands (and face, just like in Japan). You're immediately immersed in the atmosphere. Considering the quality of the food, the price remains reasonable, especially compared to imitators. The fish is very fresh, and you quickly realize you're dealing with a true sushiya, a sushi master. The desserts are also delicious and beautiful. In short, everything is good, beautiful, and peaceful. It's up to you to try it.

I must say that this is an authentic Japanese restaurant in Paris that doesn't cost a fortune. I was impressed with the food quality. Also, the variety of food was amazing. I felt like I was at a Japanese restaurant in Japan. I would suggest not to get an eel rice bowl if you know the quality of eel in Japan. Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant to go to if you miss an authentic Japanese food.

Fantastic! My family and I go every Friday. It's a bit pricey, but once you've tasted the food, you quickly forget about it. I recommend it 100%!
