Tai Thu is my favorite Vietnamese spot in Guillotière. Friendly service, convenient to the metro, reasonable prices. What to order? I always get their beef tartare salad. Fans of banh xeo should get the banh xeo. Note that it's better for dine-in, not takeaway. PRO TIP 1: On their menu is a peking duck rice - it ISN'T a fried rice, but still delicious if you're quackers like me for duck. PRO TIP 2: Bring cash. When I first came here years ago they didn't take cards, so my habit has been to bring Euros...

We stumbled upon this place by chance and received a warm and friendly welcome. The traditional Vietnamese cuisine was excellent. We'll be back to try other specialties...

While passing through, we stopped at this restaurant for a meal. We ordered two beef loc-lac dishes, quite different from those in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, but not bad at all.

07/10/2026: Just popping in to order takeout this evening. I was captivated by the atmosphere of this place. I was greeted by a wonderful person who was incredibly attentive and offered great advice. I felt like I was transported to another world for an evening, just a few meters from my home. I'll be back very soon!
