Taiyo Ramen sur Paris

02/02/2026: A very interesting place located in Old Paris, which still retains all the medieval features of the island. The dishes, like the interior of this establishment, are certainly in keeping with the food of a medieval tavern. The service is good, but it's a bit unkind of the restaurant not to specify that the minimum order amount is a mandatory meal, not just a starter combo. Given the type of place and location, the price is certainly reasonable.

31/01/2026: Credit cards are accepted for purchases over €25. Obviously, this isn't mentioned on their website when you book. Now that you know that, here are the details of my experience at this establishment. The decor is very nice. We were upstairs. You had to raise your voice to hear each other. We waited an hour before receiving our food and drinks. The food was good but not very generous. I ordered the duck breast. The owner was friendly at the beginning of the evening but awful towards the end. When you run an establishment, the least you can do is be friendly to your customers at all times.
