Taj Mahal sur Le Mans

Disappointed. It's really mainstream Indian food. I ordered a "very spicy" dish and told the waitress to go for it, and honestly, I didn't find it spicy at all. Less so than a Senegalese or Thai dish. The portions are frankly small for the price (€12-13 for the dish, and €5.50 for the Indian milk, cashew, and pistachio ice cream, which is about the size of half a canteen glass), so much so that I ate more when I got home. The only positive point is the speed of the service. EDIT: I happened to walk past it late this afternoon, the kitchen windows were open so you could see inside, and I clearly saw jars of ready-made "Indian sauces" from the PATAKS brand, which you can find at Auchan or Leclerc 🤣🤣🤣 I understand why it was frankly not very good the time I ate there!!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic evening at this Indian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the welcome and service were top-notch. The staff were lovely and really took great care of us. A truly wonderful place, we'll definitely be back! 😊

The meal was good overall, but there was no fresh water. And not a single smile, either when we were greeted or during the service.

Everything was okay but not excellent, the service was great but several pans were found in the dishes, and the mocktails were a little bland!

I've been to this Indian restaurant dozens of times and I've never been disappointed. Whether it's the meat dishes or the vegetarian options, everything is delicious. The prices are very reasonable. The waitress is very accommodating and pleasant. Go without hesitation.

This is my second time here, and it's still just as delicious!!! Why not come back a third time?! 🤗

I had butter chicken with naan and it was excellent. It had all the flavors you find in India. The waitress was wonderful. I highly recommend this Indian restaurant, which I think is the best Indian restaurant in Le Mans.

Reheated food that’s been prepared days in advance. Tables too close together. Service was slow I even had to move the dishes from my first course on to the next table in order that the waitress could serve the main course… not sure what’s wrong with staff clearing tables between courses… change of mind reduced service from 3 to 2 star. Not a smile in the place 🙁
