While in Annecy, we were very pleased with our meal at the TAJ MAHAL restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We'll definitely be back (the prices are really reasonable)! Highly recommended!

The restaurant was not as expected. We tried the food, and it was very average. The shrimp wasn't that great, and the price was good. There might be other, better options.

Delicious, generous portions! If you'd like to order takeout, I recommend calling ahead and picking up your order when it's ready; they're very punctual. Our food was still piping hot and well-protected during transport. Thank you! I highly recommend them.

Excellent restaurant, I come with my friends very often and we always have a wonderful time. The kind lady always greets us with a smile. However, if I had to criticize one thing, it would be the decor... very dark, bulky furniture, overly imposing decorations.

Excellent family restaurant, very warm welcome, honestly incredibly fast service, they prepared our order in less than 5 minutes, everything was delicious and the restaurant atmosphere was amazing

17€ for a chicken korma but you have no rice. You have to pay extra 6€ for rice. Too bad. Fortunately the food was good but so the quantity/price is way overvalued.

19/08/2026: Impeccable meal. Very good portion. Super enjoyable.
17/08/2026: I came with my Pakistani family, so we're very familiar with the local specialties. The food is delicious (especially the salmon tikka masala, I loved it!), and the welcome from the family who runs the restaurant is excellent, regardless of your background. I recommend booking a table by phone; you won't be disappointed.
