We just returned from a meal with a friend at this restaurant. The food was very good, thankfully, but it redeemed the friendliness of the waitress and staff, which was abysmal. A complete lack of manners and professionalism. During the meal, we could hear the waitress yelling from the kitchen; a smile was clearly not part of the service. To top it all off, after paying, common sense dictated that we say goodbye. We repeated it once, twice, three times, even seven times, before the customer behind us finally responded. I find that outrageous! When there are only five customers in a restaurant one evening with food of this caliber, serious questions need to be asked. It's a culinary delight, but utterly disgusting to witness the lack of respect shown by the staff!

Takayale is an excellent sushi restaurant with fresh and flavorful dishes. The setting is pleasant, the atmosphere friendly, and the service very pleasant. Ideal for a meal as a couple, with friends, or with family. I highly recommend it!
