I love this tiny restaurant tucked away outside the Bayonne market hall. They serve talo, a typical Basque snack. The talo is delicious, the servers are lovely, and the atmosphere in this beautiful square is fantastic! I always make a point of stopping by whenever I'm in Bayonne.

There are themed evenings every month with fantastic hosts and delicious homemade food. There's also a huge selection of games for a relaxing afternoon at Le Menteur ☺️ In short, a good time is guaranteed at any hour!

The welcome at this restaurant was superb. The charcuterie boards were generous, the ham croquettes excellent, and what can I say about the service? The waiter was delightful, always with a joke. The service was quick, and the value for money was exceptional!
