A very warm welcome and the good cheer of the Basque Country! Excellent meal with unbeatable value for money! Everything was excellent and much of it homemade. Quick service, honestly, you should go without hesitation! However, you need to arrive early because it fills up quickly.

A warm welcome. Nice local cuisine. Good service. It's a shame the dessert menu is so traditional, even if it is homemade. No Basque cake or other local desserts.

There are many restaurants in Bayonne, and choosing can be difficult! At Bar du Marché, we've never been disappointed…timeless decor, a terrace overlooking a quiet street, a warm welcome, efficient service, excellent, home-style cooking! Homemade fries, a well-seasoned green salad, delicious homemade desserts…etc…We highly recommend it!
