Taverne Avedis sur Avignon

We ate there as a couple, it was super good, the people are extremely friendly and the meat is delicious!

The staff is welcoming, even the owner comes to chat with you... We had the Adana platter and meze salad. And it was absolutely delicious! No complaints whatsoever. All this in a quiet, shady spot. We'll be back.

We had dinner at La Taverne d'Avedis during the Avignon Festival and had a wonderful time. Despite the crowds, the welcome was warm and the service efficient. The dishes were generous, delicious, and carefully prepared, all at a very reasonable price considering the quality. The friendly atmosphere makes it a great place to take a break after a day exploring the festival streets. We will gladly return on our next trip to Avignon.

Excellent, nothing to complain about, it was simply delicious. I rediscovered the flavors of the dishes I tasted in Turkey in a pleasant setting. The service was quick and the portions generous. I highly recommend it.

Delicious Greek cuisine with everything that transports you to sunny Greece. The borek are excellent. The service is young and friendly on this lovely terrace in Avignon.

There was a bit of a wait for a table, but hey, it's a busy festival. The staff were a little exhausted, but understandable given it was their umpteenth service. The food was excellent for a €30 set menu (starters, main courses, dessert). There was a good selection: salad, crispy vine leaves, feta for the main course, chicken skewers, beef, or sea bream. Nothing to complain about, perhaps the side dishes could be changed depending on the customers, especially the desserts. Absolutely delicious. The only downside was that they didn't offer the wine we wanted; they offered us another one without letting us taste it first, and served it in mulled wine glasses. But, well, it was several services, so we understood. We'll be back to try the rest of the menu. Thank you for this discovery.
