The starter was nice and tasty, the hamburger was good, however I was disappointed with the fish dish, the vegetables were poorly washed, there was sand and the rice was the kind you find in canteens, which is a shame.

The setting is nice. The appetizers are good. The brewer's sauerkraut is served in a generous portion. My husband had the burger, but the fries weren't crispy enough. Our friend ordered the butcher's cut. It wasn't cooked properly. A shame. As for dessert: the Nutella crepe was a complete disappointment. You have to add the Nutella yourself 😱 Mixed opinions from us.

I ordered a seafood platter to take away and I highly recommend it! The service was excellent, it was well packaged for the journey, and we thoroughly enjoyed it (they provided all the necessary sides, which was fantastic).

I would like to mention the service that impressed me most. We came in for a hot drink late in the morning. We were greeted by a young waitress who took our drinks, and when we asked if they also offered pastries, she said no, but returned a few minutes later with pastries for our table. I wanted to thank her for kindly coming out of her way to get them for us!

17/02/2026: The price has dropped considerably... A duck breast for €22 is just half a fillet with a rather meager side dish, which is a shame. The servers are still friendly!
09/02/2026: A restaurant you absolutely must try, with refined and varied cuisine. Quality products, no regrets even after 3 weeks.

11/02/2026: A really nice bar on a pleasant little square in the summer. The bartender and the manager are incredibly friendly and always smiling, chatting with you and creating a great atmosphere. The drinks are very reasonably priced, one of the cheapest in Saint-Étienne. I recommend it for a night out with friends, especially since you can play darts for free, which can add some fun to an evening...
