Excellent. Without a doubt the best Japanese restaurant in Lot-et-Garonne. They serve authentic Japanese cuisine. You won't find a vast array of sushi and maki in every imaginable flavor. The best gyoza we've ever had, superb yudo, ramen, bento, and Japanese curry. A manga library as part of the decor. Impeccable and attentive service.

We were in Agen for the weekend and had spotted this Japanese restaurant before arriving (we made a reservation a few days prior, as it was Valentine's Day weekend). We were looking for an authentic place with homemade dishes, not mass-produced ones (like sushi, as is the case in other restaurants in the city). The location is quite easy to find and close to parking along the banks of the Garonne River. The storefront makes it look like a very small restaurant, but in fact, it's quite long. That evening, all the tables were reserved, and there was a great atmosphere. We chatted with a couple at the next table and, at the end, with the owner and the chef, all of whom were very pleasant. A very convivial moment. Moreover, the restaurant is unique, with a projector showing videos about Japan, and an entire wall covered in manga to admire and read. A must for fans! As for the food, it was divine. We had mainly come for the ramen (admittedly different from any we enjoyed during our stay in Japan last September/October), but everything was very good and carefully prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

I've been eating at this restaurant since it opened. It's a restaurant that offers authentic Japanese home cooking. The appetizers are excellent, and the main courses offer a variety that will satisfy any dietary need (I particularly recommend trying the Japanese tofu—it's delicious!), but don't forget the desserts for a perfect ending. What a pleasure to experience a taste of Japan without having to go to a big city. A taste of Japan awaits in a restaurant that also houses a collection of authentic objects!
