I returned to this teppanyaki restaurant for the sheer pleasure of the food, not for superficial pretension. The chef is always welcoming and friendly. The scallops are cooked perfectly on the griddle with their sake sauce. The beef is deliciously tender, served with mushrooms. I'll be back for the grilled salmon and squid... and the excellent Japanese green tea. The set menu prices are also very reasonable compared to other teppanyaki restaurants.

I would say this is the best teppanyaki I've ever tasted. The chef is very warm and his team is very welcoming. You need to reserve by phone if you want a seat at the counter!

The storefront is so old-fashioned, it'll soon be back in style (don't change a thing!). The sashimi is delicious, and now everything that most Japanese restaurants serve as "sashimi" will seem pretty bland to me. The teppanyaki, the reason we came here, is made with excellent ingredients, and the very friendly chef perfectly masters the cooking and seasoning. A delight from start to finish!

Simple, excellent, the chef expertly cooks meats and fish on a hot plate right in front of you. The lunch menus are well thought out. A great find today.

The storefront is a bit run-down, but it's inside where you'll be in for a treat. If possible, ask for a seat at the counter; you'll have the pleasure of chatting while watching the chef cook. In short, a very good teppanyaki restaurant.
