Friendly and helpful staff. Excellently cooked pasta, honest prices. Luingine dish with bottarga €16 with abundant quantity and a fillet with baked potatoes and salad €28. We woke up really full and satisfied, highly recommended!!

Excellent typically Corsican and Mediterranean cuisine, a warm welcome and a beautiful setting. In peak season you have to have time and take your time but everything is homemade with top quality products. A grocery store accompanies everything with many Corsican products, you will undoubtedly find what you are looking for there.

One summer afternoon, we were attracted by the family lunch option and the beautiful restaurant room with its high, vaulted ceiling. We all had a great time. The dishes were tasty, the welcome was really nice, and our daughters literally loved the risotto and the delicious red fruit panna cotta. Thank you for this very pleasant moment.

At first glance, Terra di Catoni may seem like an inconspicuous restaurant - but it is clearly convincing thanks to its friendly and attentive staff, the delicious food (the tiramisu is a must!) and the ambience.

20/08/2024: I had the €20 menu with starter, main course and dessert. As a starter I chose the salad with warm goat cheese. Good choice! For the main course I chose the grilled sardines. Also great! And for dessert, vanilla/chocolate ice cream. I'm more prepared for disappointment when it comes to ice cream in a restaurant, but not here! Today was a completely delicious lunch at a very good price. And with a view of the sea. Thank you, dear Santa Maria team!

22/09/2024: Having left the GR20, want to eat real Corsican dishes, this is the right place. The dishes are delicious, the atmosphere is great, the waiter and the owner are great. In short, I highly recommend this restaurant.... The Alsatians
14/09/2024: “U Paisanu, in the heart of Bastia, is a true immersion in Corsican authenticity. Located on the 1st floor of the grocery store, the restaurant offers a warm and typical room. We had the pleasure of tasting several Corsican specialties (the whole menu 😂) everything was so tempting 🤤. The Bastiaise-style anchovies were excellent, and the ghjialadicciu was an incredible discovery. All served by a young man who was both friendly and very attentive. Before leaving, we exchanged a few anecdotes with Francis, the boss, a simple and authentic man who perfectly embodies the spirit of this place. A memorable and gourmet experience, which we recommend without hesitation!”
