We had given a heads-up, but arrived at the end of service (2 pm).
We received an unexpectedly warm welcome—and even though we had anticipated its quality, it was worthy of an establishment of an even higher caliber (explanations of the dishes, excellent wine recommendations, amuse-bouches, etc.).
We had warm oysters as a starter, a fish balloon as a main course, and vineyard peach gazpacho for dessert; accompanied by a dry white wine that absolutely didn't need a bucket of ice... A real treat!
We're going back tonight!

A high-quality gourmet meal prepared and presented by a very warm, smiling, and refined chef.
After our four summers spent in Sète, this is definitely the top restaurant we highly recommend.

Such an amazing experience. Everyone at the restaurant is so kind. The chef was very welcoming. He described all the dishes and how he made it -brought every dish to life! Everything was visually appealing and also very tasty. The portions were just right. Food is fresh and expertly prepared. Highly recommend this place. (English is spoken.)

The chef goes to each table and explains each of the dishes on the menu. Very friendly, patient, and enthusiastic about the dishes. Excellent experience. We ordered a glass of wine; the wine was suggested by the waiter and paired perfectly with the dish. We ordered a main course and shared dessert, and there was no awkwardness about it.

Always an absolutely fantastic time at the Terre et Mer restaurant, with Tony, who is friendly, pleasant, and always smiling. The meal was excellent, and the sangria was fantastic.
I highly recommend dining at Terre et Mer.
PS: Book your table in advance, it's very popular.

In a city overflowing with restaurants, it's a welcome respite to dine at Terre et Mer. A truly authentic restaurant run by a chef who greets you, seats you, and presents his dishes, explaining the menu in detail. Everything was perfect, from the phone reservation (also handled by the chef) to the coffee. The service is provided by the chef's son, and the food is a true delight. We can't wait to return.
