Excellent lunch. Everything is fresh, lots of vegetables, very well prepared. Organic tea, specialty coffee. Plenty of pastries for dessert and a very pleasant owner!

If you're in Argentière, very close to Chamonix, you have to visit this beautiful tea house. Everything they make is delicious. The place is super cozy and quaint. A lovely spot to stop for a while and enjoy something tasty 🫶✨

Inés was wonderful, very attentive and friendly. The place is small and cozy. We had an exquisite quiche and a soup that could raise the dead, as my grandmother used to say. The desserts were delicious too. The price isn't expensive, and the ingredients are high quality. You can eat worse at some five-star hotels. We'll definitely be back. Thank you so much, Inés 😊

Le Refuge Payot

21/05/2026: Their service is excellent and they are very cheerful. They have various types of jams, cheeses, and other items that would make good gifts.
20/04/2026: A very good experience at this shop. We went there several times during our stay. The staff (a young man and the manager) were always welcoming and friendly. They even gave our children little treats (a few sweets on the way out). A wide selection of Savoyard and Swiss products. You can sample the charcuterie, and when you ask for advice, the staff are always happy to explain. I didn't find the prices excessive! We stocked up before leaving... but I'll be back. A nice touch: the anti-waste initiative at the end of the shop! A great idea to combat food waste! The option to order online is also a fantastic idea. And finally, their sausage is a gold medal winner in 2025.
