We came for dinner one evening this week; luckily we had reserved a table for two. We received a very warm welcome, the food was of good quality, and we were very well taken care of!

A first for me. A really great atmosphere with a special barbecue evening. Fantastic! 🤩 The all-you-can-eat meal was excellent 😋😋 and there was even a singer to top it off. I'll be back....
The food was decent and good presentation. We all enjoyed the cold beers and wine.
Some how, my guests all wanted the duck since the restaurant is called the black duck.
Unfortunately, it wasn't very good. I pretended it was amazing so they all loved it as they are American and dont know better. My friends left happy. The duck was too firm and tasted freezer burned. The fat wasn't rendered long enough and remained semi raw.
The setting is beautiful overlooked the valley with beautiful oaks and a greenbelt. Unfortunately for me, the flies ruined my experience. That was the most flies I've ever seen in one area, seemed like we were filming a feed the children commercial in Africa. It was so bad. Made me loose my appetite thinking flies all over our food. One flew into my drink. We started to cover our drinks with the napkins.
The side potatoes were perfect and flavorful. The salads were dressed precisely so that you got all the flavors of the butter lettuce. It sad when salads are drenched drowned in dressing. BLACK DUCK had the perfect ratio.
