It's a basic pub, nothing mind-blowing. 5 euros a pint. If you smoke and sit outside at night be prepared for a constant stream of people asking for money or cigarettes... sometimes quite aggressively.

The Golden Apple

10/03/2026: A truly authentic and very welcoming English pub in Bordeaux. They have a selection of craft beers on tap and the pub food is excellent. It's a great place to go with family and children; the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed. Highly recommended!

Bistro Poulette

17/03/2026: After doing some shopping at the Capucins market, we went for lunch at Poulette, a lobster bar. We ordered lobster rolls and thoroughly enjoyed them. The welcome, the chef, and the service were all top-notch! Thank you, we'll be back.
