As a Scotsman living in Bordeaux, it was a delight to find somewhere that serves a full British breakfast with proper bacon and black pudding! The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly, and the location is lovely, although slightly cramped. The prices I found fairly reasonable given the food, although it's still on the higher end of what you'd pay for a "normal" breakfast. Still, worth the money for that little taste of home!

Excellent prompt friendly service, very good prices and beautiful home-made scones, the only place i bordeaux you can get " real" english tea ! Wish we'd discovered it earlier as would have been here every day ! ... lovely in - house puppy to greet you also !😁

We went for brunch during our weekend in Bordeaux.
We had already read reviews of this restaurant on Google and we were not disappointed.
The boss is really very friendly and very smiling.
The food is very good and the service fast.
The brunch is very generous.
We waited a bit before taking our seats in the dining room, but no more than 20 minutes.

OK, it's France so I feel like I should be eating croissants and pains au chocolat every day but sometimes - especially on a day like today when it was bucketing down - you just want comfort food and a taste of home. And this is exactly what The Breakfast Club offers. I was made to feel welcome the moment I stepped dripping in the door of this cosy, quirky little cafe. The staff can speak English, the prices are reasonable, service is efficient, and the food and atmosphere are excellent. Would definitely recommend and will be going back to try their full English breakfast and ALL of the cakes some time soon. Thank you for the lovely experience on such a miserable day!
