There were grains of sand in the salad. Just goes to show how a grain of sand can change everything, and I'm telling you, salads can be a disaster! #sandysalad Otherwise, everything else was great!

Lunch on the terrace was a great experience at Famous Pub. There's a wide selection of burgers and drinks, from cocktails to beers, something for everyone. The option to choose from three proteins with any burger is fantastic – it's truly customizable! The burgers are absolutely amazing 😋 so flavorful, you can really taste the quality of the ingredients!

A bit disappointed by this bar. English style, but a mostly French menu (especially for the beers). I was really hoping for something more authentic, even if the decor is British.

We arrived on the evening of the 3rd. The bartender was very kind, and the "new" waiter was very friendly and pleasant. Regarding a certain Emilien, I think it would be better to use polite language and not push customers around when there's only one table in the restaurant. It's a shame, but thank you to the young newcomer for taking such good care of us.

20/03/2026: Dishes prepared in different and original ways, excellent cuisine worthy of the best restaurants in downtown La Rochelle, but at a more reasonable price. I can only warmly recommend it and look forward to returning to enjoy the excellent cuisine, the kind only my exceptional mother, a cook herself, knew how to make.
20/03/2026: Wow! A truly delicious dinner! The server was absolutely lovely and took their time... It was flawless, and we'll gladly return on our next trip to La Rochelle. Thank you! ☺️
