The Fiddlers Rest sur Chalais

A little bit of English (Irish? there was draught Guinness!) pub atmosphere in rural France. Excellent food and lovely service - what's not to like?

Fiddler's Rest is an institution on the N21 in Maison Rouge. Regulars and fans of Irish pubs meet here for a Kilkenny or delicious dishes prepared by the chef. Fish and chips are among the classics that should not be missed! Due to the popularity of the restaurant, advance reservations are recommended. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the building. It's also worth making the trip here. In summer, you can sit in the well-tended garden, and in winter, the open fireplace in the dining room creates a cosy, homely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Beautiful garden for dining, delicious food, and super friendly owner/staff. And the price-quality ratio is also excellent.

Fast, good service with a nice menu with plenty of choices, and you also get a good plate full of food. Top place.
