Good bar for a drink or to watch any sport

The pub is nice, but watch out for the bouncers; they're capable of chasing a woman down the street, grabbing her arm, and squeezing her hard enough to leave marks the next day, just because she said one wrong word on the way out. It probably wasn't worth going that far...

A classic pub, 5 minutes from Montparnasse station, so it's perfect for a pint while waiting for your TGV. Be careful, if you're planning to catch your train, and even have a drink or two, but plan on giving yourself 15 minutes to avoid stressing out, as it's uphill and can be winding :) Otherwise, Happy Hour is between €6 and €7 depending on the drink. What's a shame is that there are no peanuts; a mini bag of chips is €2. I don't think that's normal! A real shame.

A nice pub, ideally located just steps from the train station. A pleasant stop before or after a train. They serve classic pub fare, so don't expect anything fancy. The service was extremely friendly!

Nice pub with reasonable prices. They have billiards and darts! The music could use a bit more oomph.

We were in Paris with some friends, and at 2:00 AM, it was too early to go back to the hotel, so we found The Financier! We had a great evening until closing time.
