Great pub!!! The service was top-notch considering how busy it was! Huge congratulations to our amazing waiter, William!!! The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and friendly. I loved the music at the end of the evening! The only downside, which just goes to show that this pub is a victim of its own success, is the volume of the conversations, which forces you to raise your voice or strain to hear things more 🤣😂🤣

27/08/2026: A typical McDonald's location, with screens to order from. They also have tables downstairs and outside. The order arrived quickly and was correct.

09/09/2026: Great Monday jazz night. Really cool varied styles played. We heard double bassist and 2 guitars. Btw best to reserve in advance if you want to be in back room with musicians- by phone I think. And arrive 8 onwards You can hear music in middle bar and front bar just fine. The decor is something else-such a variety of posters from all sorts of music and bands and artists from the last 50 years intermixed with photos of past customers-we spent ages looking at them recalling the music. Toilets down rickety stairs but fine. Good enough choice of cocktails wine and beers Thank you to female manager who looked after us, as I am an oxygen user. The place gets warm! Bar gets busy.
23/07/2026: Gin tonic and espresso martini are both incredibly delicious!
