The Lion Rouge, once such an iconic Marseille nightlife spot on the seafront, is becoming a shadow of its former self. There was a time when this establishment was truly a place of vibrant, unpretentious life; now, unfortunately, it's descending into utter flinkéfitchism. Indeed, paying a hefty sum to sip a glass of spirits from a plastic container seems highly excessive and terribly lacking in any real "barjack" vibe. You're charging nightclub prices. Speaking of which, when are you going to ban drinking on the low wall in front of your establishment?

A bar ideally located right by the sea. The establishment offers a wide selection of beers as well as shows and activities every day of the year. The pizzas and tapas are excellent, and there's a great atmosphere. I highly recommend this place!

Superb pub. Cozy atmosphere upstairs with a terrace. Great selection of drinks and the pizzas are excellent. Very warm welcome and impeccable service. Kindness, smiles, and helpfulness. A real pleasure. Thanks to the team, we had an unforgettable birthday evening. And the end of the evening downstairs was a bonus. Thank you all!

A charming place with a truly unique atmosphere that makes you feel like you're experiencing a special moment, almost outside of time. The ambiance is warm, friendly, and authentic, ideal for a wonderful evening with friends or simply enjoying the setting. You immediately feel at ease, carried away by the energy of the place and the beauty of the surroundings of the Old Port. A real gem, both for the pub's spirit and the quality of the time spent there. I will gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a lively, pleasant, and memorable spot in Marseille.
