The Surf Cafe sur Mimizan

I ate very well last week; it was hearty and delicious.

A very warm welcome, very reasonable prices considering the location, and above all, service after 2 pm! It doesn't seem crazy, but it was the only restaurant we found that didn't stop serving at 2 pm. All the others turned us away after 2 pm... on August 18th!! Just 200 meters from the beach! Unbelievable! Thank you so much for your smiles and friendliness. (Generous portions) 😋 Signed, Sylvain, a shopkeeper in Guérande who owns a glassware store, open continuously from 10 am to 8 pm... hence my shock at seeing restaurants stop serving after 2 pm! Very satisfied with this little restaurant in the heart of Mimizan. The mussels were particularly good, perfectly cooked with a homemade mushroom sauce and large chunks of bacon – a real treat! The other dishes at our table were all very good, and the prices were very reasonable compared to the seafront restaurants! I highly recommend it.

Honestly, what can I say except go and experience it for yourself. For me, it was the best of the best restaurant I've been to during my holidays in the region, and the servers were very friendly. I honestly recommend it.

Best value for money in Mimizan

Great for an early morning breakfast. 3 euros for a coffee and croissant. Guillemette was very friendly. I'll definitely go back.
