We had a great breakfast. It is located in a small and elegant street in Montparnasse. Obviously the prices are a little high but the products are very good.

We come here whenever we're in Paris. Just down the road from the Catacombs. Amazing sandwiches, amazing coffee and amazing cakes! Look at those thiccc cheesecakes!!

Very pleasant “bakery-restaurant”. Good variety, I really recommend the New York cheesecake: fruity, sweet but not too much, light, with a subtle play on textures… wow!

Maison Thevenin is one of these quasi-institutional businesses on this pedestrian street of rue Daguerre. There are always people. For bread, pastries or cakes, the house is never empty. The quality is there for the bread. As for the pastries, I think they are good without being exceptional.

I was impressed by open and hospitable atmoshere made by people working there. My favorite stuff in Maison Thevevin is sticks of the dark chokolate with a delicios marmelade inside. Special thanks for the chef! See you soon again in the one of the most green and nice zones on the left bank of the Seine.

02/08/2024: Excellent products, very good dishes and the same juice!
29/07/2024: A nice break in this busy neighborhood. I regret not being able to eat my hot dish on a “real” plate. Plastic glasses (even if they are beautiful) for water are not a must either. Very good vegetarian dish and juice to die for!

Long Hop

20/09/2024: Stopped here for a happy hour pint and it turned into 2. Great patio. Excellent beer selection. Very lively location with fantastic people watching. I did not have any food here so cannot speak to that but if you are wandering Paris and get thirsty this is a great place to pop in.
11/09/2024: The Long Hop is the quintessential local + international pub. The vibe is just right for casual dinning and drinking with any crowd. It’s not only centrally located, but also positioned nicely in a cozy off-corner spot with view on the grassy Place Maubert, without loud traffic. Quick drink service at the bar, great prices, cool staff, pool table inside. Huge seating area inside and out, with terrace + sidewalk area making it great for outdoor drinks and charming interior nice for a relaxed but quality dinner. Hard to go wrong here, been many times!
