As you can see by my profile, I have reviewed many restaurants in france so please be aware that I am not a typical brit expecting a uk type restaurant. The service here was indifferent bordering on arrogant . The menu advertised outside says that the daily menu is available every day except public holidays, but it isn't, only Wednesdays to Fridays. The place opens at 12 but it wasn't until 12.05. We didn't order our food until 12. 40 so we were very hungry by the time it arrived over an hour after we had sat down. The choice on the menu is very limited but it was great food. There are many restaurants in the area offering a friendly, warm welcome together with great food, so I would choose to visit them and wouldn't bother with this one again. Clean toilets and free on-site parking.

Restaurant that is worth the detour, the cuisine is excellent, the service impeccable, the setting of the terrace is very good. A limited but interesting choice, careful dressing and beautiful presentation, I highly recommend this establishment.

This place needs to make up its mind about its aspirations. The food was good, really, but the young waitress needs to either loosen up with more cachet or step up professionally, because her waiting did not match the cuisine. My wife had her 8 euro local white glass of wine poured into the glass of her aperitif. My pinot noir was poured so rashly there was quite some spill. Not a word. We did not get to see either label of each wine. Same white next, same glass alright, fair enough I guess. I ordered a different red: no new glass, no label. Each time she came to collect our plates not a word about whether we enjoyed our food. Well, actually we did, we enjoyed the food a lot, some of it was really amazing. Thanks as well to the chef and the more mature waitress for creating a starter portion of sweetbread, which was on the menu as main only. And it was really good!

Pleasantly located near the canal which allows for a digestive walk after an excellent meal. The duck breast with pan-fried slices of melon was a pleasant surprise. Original and tasty cuisine in a renovated setting. Very attentive service, this restaurant is worth the detour... and encourages you to come back!
