Excellent time at Les Fables. Very well-prepared dishes, a fine wine list and attentive service.

I give it 5 stars for the refinement and explosion of flavors in the dishes, all delicious, from appetizers to desserts. The four of us tried everything on the menu, and we went from one delight to another! The service is quite attentive, but there are too few staff, so expect a long wait between courses—plenty of time to share stories with family or friends ;)

Once again, we had a fantastic meal, truly top-notch. The only downside was that the starter arrived quickly, but the rest of the meal took a bit too long between courses – a little over two hours from arrival to departure.

What a wonderful discovery! The terrace is truly delightful, the welcome and service were top-notch, the cuisine light and refined, with beautiful plates both in terms of quantity and quality. We will definitely return 😊. Thank you for this lovely time and your smiles...

Excellent Traditional Cuisine in the Côte Chalonnaise - A Hidden Gem Worth the Detour! Discovered Les Fables during a week of professional wine tasting in Burgundy, and I'm surprised I hadn't stopped here before despite regularly driving along the RN6! On a slightly rainy winter evening, the interior atmosphere was a bit austere, but nothing that would dampen the experience if you're in good company. Chef Adeline Viollet was working the dining room in her chef's jacket that night. She seemed perhaps a bit reserved with me (maybe my Parisian manners were intimidating?), though noticeably warmer and more relaxed with the local regulars at neighboring tables who were clearly familiar faces. But let's talk about what really matters - the food! The cooking is masterfully executed with perfectly timed preparations and textures that truly honor the quality of the ingredients. Fair warning for lighter appetites: portions are generous! Everything was so delicious that you'll likely clean your plate anyway and leave thoroughly satisfied. If you're exploring the Côte Chalonnaise wine region, Les Fables is absolutely worth seeking out. This is the kind of authentic, well-executed French cooking that makes a wine trip to Burgundy complete. Don't let the modest setting fool you - the quality on the plate speaks for itself. Highly recommended for anyone looking for genuine Burgundian hospitality and cuisine away from the tourist crowds of Beaune!

We had a wonderful Sunday meal with the family. Everything was delicious, even the bread. We'll definitely be back.

There were four of us for dinner. The house aperitif (peach, lychee, sparkling wine) was good. The amuse-bouches and starters were very good. All the dishes were loved, and for me, the sweetbreads were absolutely divine. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, truly flavorful, and seasonal. The chocolate dessert was very good, but nothing special. I had the crème brûlée, which was excellent and definitely worth ordering. We all unanimously enjoyed the food, which is well worth trying. Unfortunately, the quality of service didn't live up to the quality of the food or the price point of this restaurant. Our orders took a long time to be taken, and our starters were served almost an hour after we arrived. The server seemed overwhelmed, as she didn't have time to attend to certain details. For example, the wine glasses remained on the table throughout the meal (even though we didn't order wine), and the cutlery wasn't always cleared away. We ate in the last room, which is quite simple and clean. I would gladly return to this restaurant, hoping the service will be better next time.

Everything is in place at this restaurant for a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and the dishes are beautifully prepared and delicious. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area and looking for a good meal.
