A Valentine's Day evening at Toinou's was excellent. The oysters and shellfish were delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, the dining room was beautifully decorated, and the waitress was friendly and smiling.
A must-visit for seafood lovers.
I go to Toinou's regularly; it's always good, I'm never disappointed.

A wonderful discovery at Toinou, a restaurant specializing in exceptionally fresh and high-quality fish and seafood.
The setting is beautiful and the atmosphere very pleasant. There's a wide selection of seafood: different types of oysters, mussels, shrimp, whelks, sea urchins, crab claws, lobster, and more. The concept of creating your own seafood platter with various sauces is fantastic.
They also offer hot dishes made with fresh fish, which is a nice touch. Of course, some fish may occasionally be unavailable, but that's precisely what makes everything so incredibly fresh.
The staff is welcoming, friendly, and takes the time to explain and advise, with a perfectly measured dose of humor tailored to the clientele. A very nice bonus: on the other side of the restaurant, you can buy your own fresh seafood or fish.
I loved this discovery and I'll definitely be back!

Definitely a well-known and overall successful venue. The food was excellent, albeit a bit spicy, and well-presented. The prices were reasonable. The only downside was the inattentive service, as the drinks arrived after we'd finished our appetizers, requiring two additional calls to the waiter—one for wine and one for water. Overall, it remains a go-to place for fresh seafood.

Last Sunday, we ate at Toinou's restaurant in Aix-en-Provence. The platter included clams, shrimp, whelks, mussels, oysters, lobsters, and langoustines, which I suspect weren't fresh. This resulted in both of us getting food poisoning and being bedridden for a week. I called the restaurant twice, which I find unacceptable because they didn't call me back. I wasn't expecting anything in return; I simply wanted to explain what had happened, given that we had waited an hour on the terrace for a table. The manager didn't return my call, which I find deplorable. I must admit, I thoroughly enjoyed the shellfish, but if I had known we would end up in this state, I would have chosen something else. I find it irresponsible not to call a customer back.
