Toinou is one of the best restaurants in the area and has deliciously prepared fresh seafood. Our waiter Leo was awesome!! He was incredibly attentive and helpful at explaining the dishes, how food was prepared (his advice about the grilled whole fish was spot on!), and recommending dishes and desserts when we needed input. One of the best waiters we’ve encountered while in France! Highlights from the dinner were the razorback clams baked in garlic and butter and the grilled sea bass which comes with fries or grilled vegetables. We also enjoyed the crème brûlée for dessert. Run, don’t walk to this restaurant if you’re in Aix.

There's a lot of talk about the excellently cooked and presented fish and seafood, but not enough praise is given to the service, which in my opinion is absolutely top-notch, and the very pleasant setting.
