Very friendly staff And a very appetizing meal

We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, as well as the service. Our waitress, Fleur, was very attentive and caring. The shellfish were delicious, and the "Crying Cat" was a truly wonderful experience.

A very pleasant surprise in Aix-en-Provence. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the aioli served on the lunch menu was excellent and very well presented. Sorry, a piece of fish is missing from the photo, but my fork was faster than my camera! 🤣 The service was quick, efficient, and friendly. We will definitely return on our next trip to the area.

We're never disappointed. The shellfish are incredibly fresh and always delicious. Great selection of fish, crustaceans, and shellfish. A place to add to your address book.

For once, I have to say the shellfish platter was disappointing. The oysters weren't great, the whelks were in poor condition, and the shrimp must have been fresh... What's going on? We've come to expect better from Toinou! On the other hand, the servers were attentive and pleasant.

Excellent product, fresh and delicious. I love this place. However, I would like to report an incident for your information: On Labor Day (a public holiday), we came for lunch as a family. The waiter who initially served us was friendly. We asked him if he could possibly bring us the dessert menu. Our exact words were: "Could you bring the menu, perhaps?" We may have phrased the question poorly, but without any ill intent. We didn't understand his reaction until he adopted a very unpleasant attitude towards our table, which included two children, a 101-year-old grandmother, and my mother-in-law (who asked the question). He took it very badly, and we still don't understand why. Was it because we had asked for more bread earlier? Or because we pointed out that two appetizers that should have arrived at the same time had been forgotten? Is that too much to ask? We don't know. From that moment on, he gave us dirty looks. He delegated the service to his colleagues, ignored us, and only served the tables next to us. Perhaps you could ask your team what happened? We remained very cordial throughout the meal. It's a shame to make customers have a bad experience when we simply wanted to enjoy a lovely day with our family. On the positive side: the other two waitresses were very friendly, and the food was wonderful. I'm writing this review so the owner is aware of the situation and to prevent this experience from happening to other customers.
