The managers are very nice. There aren't many people, which is nice. It is also possible to eat outside in the sun.
I recommend ordering the tartare with vinegared rice, avocado and salmon.
On the other hand, the seaweed is not very crunchy, too moist, in short not very good.
We had the chance to discover this restaurant and eat on the terrace. It was nice. Please note that the reduction in the range is only valid on the first 4 pages of the menu book. So little choice knowing the book is based mainly on menus (no promotion)
I'm removing one star, we haven't been back to Tokyo Yaki for a while, unfortunately the experience wasn't great. Taste of the salmon without being bad, clearly lacked freshness, the miso soup completely diluted and the coleslaw was bathed in its juice. But what happened?! The quality seems to have declined. Did we get it wrong? I'm perplexed. See you next time.
We booked this sushi through The Fork, but were disappointed by the freshness of some of the ingredients, particularly the seaweed. The sushi was not exceptional and the presentation was rather simple. The portion of ginger and wasabi was minimal even though we ordered several dishes. However, the service was friendly and efficient, which helped make our evening at this restaurant enjoyable.
