A small restaurant known only to locals, a real gem. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but everything inside is excellent. The service is friendly, warm, and genuinely kind. Whenever I feel nostalgic for trips to Japan, this is where I come! 💗

A nice Japanese Tonkatsu place in an unexpected location beside the Gare Montparnasse. We had the special lunch which was an excellent selection, and some chicken katsu curry. Also don’t miss the lychee sorbet.

Served in under 10 minutes (we got takeout), we thoroughly enjoyed the bento boxes from Tonkastu Tombo. Generously filled (meat + rice + raw vegetables + tonkatsu sauce), they were also delicious. We'll definitely stop by again on our next visit to Montparnasse.

The dishes are flavorful, well-prepared, and the portions are very generous. The welcome is warm, and the service is quick, efficient, and always pleasant. You really feel at home in the friendly, family atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

21/06/2026: With the heat, we opted for three crispy chicken salads accompanied by their delicious gyozas. The service was impeccable and the air-conditioned dining room was a real bonus. I highly recommend it!
