We came as a family this Sunday, May 3rd, 2026, to try out the place. Good experience. It's cafeteria-style, but with a modern twist. The prices are reasonable, and the main courses are good, especially the all-you-can-eat couscous at €12.90. All the staff are welcoming and friendly, from the cashiers to the grill attendants and the people clearing the trays. Less than €100 for 4 people, including drinks and wine, was reasonable. We can't wait to return to Plateau d'Auguste. Thank you for the staff's professionalism. We had a great time on Sunday with the family. 😉😉👍👍

We came to visit friends who live in Saintes and stopped by this establishment for a drink. We were greeted by Marie, who does a remarkable job and went above and beyond to serve everyone. Despite the crowd, everyone was served with a smile; it was very pleasant.

09/07/2026: A very pleasant place, even in the heat (shaded pedestrian street with fans). Quick service, especially for children. No salad with the steak and fries 😁 It's great that they thought about reducing waste! The mussels and fries were EXCELLENT!
08/07/2026: I've been coming to this restaurant for years, and there was a time when I wasn't satisfied with the food. I came back so as not to be left with that bad experience, and I rediscovered the restaurant I loved so much for its food, atmosphere, and service! Beautiful and generous portions!
