This is the best Japanese tea room in Paris. The setting is very pleasant. And you can have lunch with excellent Japanese cuisine.

Knowing the pastries at this establishment, we came for lunch. The refined Japanese cuisine was served on beautiful tableware. We had a pleasant and peaceful time.

The teas are excellent, the pastries rather predictable, but the place is quite pleasant, albeit noisy. Friendly service. Lots of sweet red bean paste. An-mitsu made with dried fruit instead of fresh fruit... A shame...

A truly excellent Japanese tea room (for real!) with refined, seasonal pastries and a superb selection of pastries. They also offer lunch and takeout. I highly recommend it; it's a lovely place to stop after visiting the surrounding monuments or the Tuileries Gardens.

Visiting this place is a truly special experience, both for the pastries and the teas. It's a beautiful, refined, elegant, and minimalist space. The service is discreet and efficient. The prices are typical of Paris... Unfortunately, and I regret this, the place is noisy, far from what I expected from this type of establishment.

I had a matcha ice cream and a dorayaki to go because I didn’t have time to sit down. The matcha ice cream is good and so is the dorayaki. I’ll go back again and try other things another day.

🇯🇵 Perfect! 📣 I think you should have banned phone calls from your customers! Goodbye peace and quiet... I don't go to Paris without having tea at TORAYA. I enjoy the seasonal pastries, or the pairings. It's a shame that on Saturdays, the crowds don't allow you to hear the birds!! Singing 🎼 ... a haven of peace! Excellent tea and quality service! A must-try during your visit to Paris! (Remember to book!)

The grocery store is very well-stocked and also boasts a beautiful collection of sake glasses and other small dishes, chopstick rests, etc. They also sell high-quality sake, making it a meeting point for sake lovers and connoisseurs! We had lunch at the restaurant across the street: a simple and tasty menu in a calm and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. The dishes arrived quickly after we sat down. The taste, the flavors, and the aromas were delightful! The menu changes daily and can be viewed on their website. A discovery to be repeated as soon as possible! Domo arigaro! どうもありがとう!

22/02/2026: Delicious, we really enjoyed it, an intimate place without any fuss where you can have a quiet conversation.
17/02/2026: It took a bad experience elsewhere for me to realize how much this establishment surpasses many other restaurants of the same style that sell maki and sushi in Paris. I remember that it was here that I tasted my first maki when I arrived in Paris 15 years ago, and I have never been disappointed.
