Quiet place with authentic Japanese patisserie and an option for a simple delicious lunch. Went there to taste some matcha and ended having lunch. They have 4 different options offering a traditional Japanese style lunch- with miso soup main dish and of course green tea. You can have only lunch or lunch + pastry + hot drink. Food was good but nothing extraordinary. Pastry was though really delicious- I tried their current seasonal option.
Pleasant experience in this Japanese tea room, the staff is warm and welcoming.
The atmosphere is very nice with a calm and relaxing background melody, a Japanese-style lacquered wooden table. The pastries are delicate and tasty, I had a good time.
The matcha green tea was also very good (I'm used to the bitterness of matcha green tea but the mild and sweet pastries balanced it out well).
I recommend for a little break away from Parisian stress ^^
Excellent Daifuku (mochi) rice cake filled with white bean paste + matcha, almost not sweet, delicate, tender, calming and serene atmosphere. I recommend.
Japanese tea and bakery in the luxury heart of Paris. I had a wonderful tea time experience. Book your table since it can be crowded during the weekend.
Very nice place but the matcha and pastries were not very good in my opinion. There were lumps left in the matcha, and the latte foam was way too soapy, ideally it should be fine bubbles like a cappuccino.
The pastries are very beautiful but much too sweet, we don't feel any subtlety in the taste, too bad!
I recommend this place to have a little tea and then enjoy the place.
Magnificent place, the most refined Japanese coffee I have had in Paris, the wagashi spring cakes to take away were very good and very fine. Let's also note the reasonable price for these magnificent little treats. Definitely a calm place and in the image of Japan. I will come back to taste your teas next time!
