The food was maybe around average to me. Prices were a little steep. I ordered their chirashi sushi, tako su (octopus) and yakitori. I walked in with high expectations but left feeling that I’d just had an average, run of the mill sushi.

5 stars for the food, but the service when it's the gentleman with the shoulder-length hair is beyond appalling, which is a shame because the other waitresses and the women are very good. This gentleman physically pushes you out if the restaurant is full and turns his back on you when he speaks to you. He doesn't admit to making mistakes with orders, which he doesn't even check, and is very curt and unfriendly. In short, he ruins everything, and since he behaves like the owner, we won't be going back! What a pity.

The service has improved significantly (I must have had a really bad experience last time), and the food quality remains very good, so I'm revising my previous review.
We ate as a family, ordering three set menus: skewers, skewers and sashimi, and skewers, sushi, and tempura. Each meal, including an appetizer, main course, and dessert, was generous and good value. The skewers are among the best in Paris in my opinion (along with Yasube on Rue Sainte-Anne), and the desserts were surprisingly good for a Japanese restaurant—no offense intended! :) I recommend this place, which I've known for twenty years.
