Toyodoo sur Besancon

Not a vegetarian here and initially a bit hesitant to go but holy cow this is some freaking good food. I don’t know how they get veggies to taste like this but they know how to cook.

A buffet style chinese-japanese delicious vegan restaurant, offering very original, tasty and absolutely light (not greasy) options. Definitely recommended for vegans. Desserts are vegetarian. I would come back

What a wonderful find this restaurant was. We were visiting Besancon for a few days and were lucky to come across this place serving Chinese haute cuisine vegetarian fare. The chefs were trained at Cordon Bleu in Paris, and each dish is a little gem, delectable and beautifully presented. The portions are not large, but there are enough courses in the tasting menu that we came away feeling very satisfied but not stuffed - and the flavor combinations were amazing. The interior of the restaurant is simple yet elegant, very tastefully decorated, unpretentious, and the prices are quite reasonable. Service was impeccable. I highly recommend Namo, for everyone, meat-eaters as well as vegetarians. You will not be disappointed!

I'd been wanting to go to Besançon and try this restaurant for a while! We ate there twice, once for the lunch buffet and once for the dinner menu. Everything was delicious! The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a great time and hope to go back! Thank you, Namo!

Unlike those all-you-can-eat Chinese restaurants, here the cuisine is refined and elegant. A very enjoyable Asian vegetarian experience.

A very charming restaurant with Asian-inspired vegan cuisine. All the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. A wide selection of teas and cocktails. The waiter was very friendly. We had a very pleasant time and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I highly recommend checking it out.
