When you bring tradition to the table you need to have a responsibility and the ability to do it, today everyone is a cook.

The pizzas could be served with a little arugula. It's just to further enhance what is already very enjoyable.

What a delightful surprise this Italian restaurant was in the heart of old La Ciotat; a true invitation to travel to the heart of Italy, with a breathtaking view of the Bay of Naples to boot. The welcome was incredibly warm; you're made to feel right at home. They offer a small menu of typical dishes, but everything is homemade. The food is delicious, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced. A special mention goes to their specialty: a pan-fried pizza with various toppings. The service is quick. We also discovered a sparkling red wine from Italy that was absolutely wonderful. One last telling detail: the entire local Italian community gathers at this establishment, which added to the feeling of being transported to another world. Even though it was the off-season, we had a wonderful and unexpectedly fantastic evening.

On a pedestrian street (be sure to plan ahead for parking, as it's difficult), you'll find a small restaurant with a warm welcome. It's run by Italians, and the clientele is predominantly Italian—a good sign. The menu is small, but the food is incredibly delicious. For starters, the pan-fried pizza with tomato and anchovies is excellent. Perfect for sharing, or not. Then there are the penne carbonara or linguine with gorgonzola and walnuts—a real treat. And for a sweet tooth, a dark chocolate fried pizza—yum! We ordered a sparkling red wine, a delightful surprise. Go without hesitation.
