If you hesitate when you see the map, look at the collection of guides and go for it! We eat well there, for cheap (which is starting to be rare in the area) and we travel with this Italian family who shares their specialties We will know where to go on our next visit to Menton 🎆

In this restaurant we tasted Italian specialties made by our mother and aunt. The waiter explained to us that it was a treat! The welcome is very warm.

The dishes are tasty, but I found the portions a little small each time I went to eat there. The desserts were appreciated

Very good food as well as service. It's a shame that many are critical because it's not in the hustle and bustle of Menton. The olive oil with salt is missing from the bread - but we're not in Italy. The food comes quickly and is fresh. The service is very attentive and simple. :) I'm coming back

I believe honest feedback is most useful. We had two nights in a row, the first was amazing, and the second was very disappointing. I feel the main difference was the service. Valerio is the spirit that drives the experience into something special. The other staff on the second night were more interested in smoking and spending time with passing friends. Beyond the service the food is just OK by our italian expectations after 3 months in Italy. The pasta was fresh but the flavor was so so. The Canaloni was however very nice. Other dishes like the bakala on polenta was interesting and unique. The house wine was decent and inexpensive by the mezzo litre. Mammas turamisu was also very good but other entres and desserts are not worth the while. I think real Parmigiano reggiano and olive oil on the table would help thier cause to be a decent Italian dinner experience. Overall we are disappointed with our hosts reccomendation of this place. Off to Italy for the real deal.

The place is located on a side street of the main street so the service was convenient after a bit of insistence to have a larger table since there were only two of us and we wanted a table for four and to be more comfortable since there weren't many people inside. At first we were denied but then they gave in and I really liked the service, in fact it turned out to be really excellent, the food was good Italian, the lady chef was very nice and helpful.

A little delight, the staff were great and very helpful. The food was full of flavour and well presented. You have to like a place that only sells their house wine. It was a nice wine. If you get a chance hit this place up, you won’t be disappointed.

If I could put more, I would, everything is great, the food is delicious and the waiters are so friendly, go there with your eyes closed for homemade Italian cuisine
