A little hard to find when relying on a car--Google Maps didn't understand that it was on a different level in the city. We ended up figuring it out by parking down in the square below and walking up the stairs. The stairs are plentiful and steep but there's a railing and a bench halfway up. (Our parents needed this help.) But then we got to this charming little restaurant and got to sit on their beautiful terrace that overlooked the city and river below. The food was worth the treasure hunt! Although we've been loving the French fare, we were ready for a little something different and this delectable Italian cuisine fit the bill.

Good welcome, nice menu, excellent and tasty dishes (also Sardinian-inspired). It would have been a truly beautiful evening but, for us, it was a bit unlucky because a big storm with relative total blackout forced us to run home without being able to stay there for long. We hope to be able to visit them again one day.

Good Italian experience! The Dama Bianca with sage and the spaghetti Vongole are to die for. Special mention for the delicious pistachio ice cream.

Delicious cuisine, warm welcome, and view of the Château de Blois! We had a very pleasant time and enjoyed ourselves. In addition, my friend unintentionally spilled his coffee after it had been served to us, when it was time to pay it was offered to us, which was very nice of them. We will return with pleasure

The Hosteria del Re offers good Italian cuisine and I'm not talking about pizzas but delicate and refined Italian dishes as well as a welcome in a magnificent setting which does not spoil this delicious experience. If you pass through Blois, this restaurant nestled at the foot of the castle will charm and delight you.

Very pleasant little lunch break with a colleague. The location has a lot to do with it but the service and especially the cuisine are not left out.
I highly recommend this establishment. It's good, and plentiful
Attention foodies, go for it!
PS: I had a little dog, he is very kind to animals :)
